FLAG FOOTBALL TEAM OF THE WEEK

The older Panthers team took the 15U division. In doing so they were named the FLAGMAG.com Flag Football Team of the Week.

The NY 9-11 Panther team shown from left Alec Zimmern, Ross Crames, Ricci LaRosa, Sean Cunningham (back), Santiago Agosti, Robert Einersen and Daniel Hernandez. Coached by Mark Crames and Sebastian Agosti the team made it to third place in the Peabody Tournament held recently in Boston's Gillette Stadium, the same stadium where Tom Brady and the Patriots play their home games. The boys played awesome in the first game beating the SYFF Pride 19-0. In the next game the Lil' Panthers played another great game scoring 24 points against the Peabody Tanners’ 6 points. In the playoffs the Little Panthers lost to the NH Red Storm 12-7. The boys had a great time, learned the intensity of playing in a major tournament and got to play on the same turf as the NFL pros.
